Trick or Treat in Downtown Corvallis
Hey, Kids! Get all dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume, bring an adult with you then head for Downtown Corvallis to Trick or Treat on October 31,2-6 pm. Friendly Downtown Corvallis Association-member businesses will have Halloween treats for you and you can enter a fun costume contest sponsored by the Downtown Corvallis Association. To enter, just go on down to Sibling Revelry (145 NW 2nd Street) to have your picture taken. The Downtown Corvallis Association will present costume contest winners with a Downtown Gift Certificate, that you can spend like cash at any participating DCA-Member business! Rhapsody in the Vineyard
Saturday - March 14, 2009 - 4 pm to 7 pm
"Rhapsody in the Vineyard", a Downtown wine walk, presented by the Downtown Corvallis Association will feature some of Oregon's premier wineries, offering tastes of their finest vintages.
Retailers throughout Downtown Corvallis will host Oregon Wineries. Representatives from each winery will be on hand to discuss their wines and answer your wine questions. Downtown businesses will provide a variety of delicious appetizers along with music and/or artwork by local artisans. Wine may be purchased by the bottle or the case.
A DCA-logo “Rhapsody in the Vineyard” wine glass and ID wristband are required for tasting.
A $5 fee includes your glass and ID wristband. Scrip may be purchased at wine glass outlets (listed below*). Tastes are .50 cents-$1 ea. For your wine-tasting convenience, the DCA will offer hands-free "wine glass neck-slings", $5 ea.
* Glasses, scrip, & neck-slings are available for purchase, beginning at 2:30 pm.
